Investments

As an IFA providing Investments we assess the whole market and your FACTOR requirements (see opposite link), we will advise on ISA's, VCT's, Offshore Bonds, With Profits, Investment Bonds, Direct Investments, Child Trusts, Friendly Society Policies, Deposit Based Accounts and National Savings.

It is so important to have a saving and investment strategy. We will analyse your objectives and design a bespoke portfolio consisting of a wide range of assets, we call this Asset Allocation.

We find far too many people who have been sold a plan by their bank, a previous IFA or tied life company that has not been reviewed since inception. It is not unusual to find that the salesman is still receiving a commission for the sale that may have taken place 10 years ago or more.

An important discussion to have when you have savings or investments is Estate Planning. It may actually be in-appropriate to hold ISA's. We'll explain why, if that is the case. It is essential to FACTOR your investments. Click on the FACTOR button to your left for more information regarding our FACTOR analysis.

Without question, investments and pensions need to be reviewed at least annually..... WHY?

Well the list is long, but below are just a few of the most common reasons:

  • your circumstances will change over the years
  • you may need to adjust the level of risk taken, and as seen through 2008 the markets can change rapidly.
  • Are you aware of all of the options available to you
  • A change of fund manager or investment style

The manager of a fund is crucial, as with a football club manager, they make the selection through their buying and selling decisions. Like football managers their tenure is often short, indeed on average a fund manager changes companies every 2 1/2 years. A change of manager can have a devastating implication to performance.

If you have a similar experience, then worry no longer. Our focus is on providing you with a long term (lifetime) financial service. The majority of our appointments each year are with existing clients, reviewing their investment and pension portfolios.....without the pressure of selling.

How can Zenith Asset Management be so different?

Simple, we are tariff based, meaning that we are remunerated as a percentage of your investment. This also means that if your investments fall, so do our fees. Therefore, we have a vested interest in achieving growth. It also means that we are not on the phone selling you the next "best ever investment".

Of course we will keep you informed about investment opportunities that may be of interest to you.

Why Don't All Advisers Do This?

Many financial service business models are based on sales and taking maximum up front commissions (8% is not unusual), whilst others, such as the banks, sell to the masses. Their advisers may see 8 or more customers per day. Put simply, most advisers are targeted to sell, not targeted to service!!! The FSA allow advisers to receive 0.5% per year as a "retainer", without any commitment to you!!!

At Zenith, we only aim to meet one or two new clients each week, therefore, allowing us to provide the ongoing service standards that we promise. We spend a greater amount of time ensuring that all advice we provide is professional and appropriate. Every client is extremely important to us.

We want to avoid the mass market, as our target audience are clients who value professional ongoing investment advice.

Our clients tell us that this is the reason why they recommend their friends and colleagues to us.
